One Foot Under - Opening Titles
Being a dying gardener is complicated, at least according to the plot of the black comedy directed by Johanna Vuoksenmaa 'Toinen Jalka Haudasta' (One Foot Under). First you try to make your last wish come true, then you meet the woman of your life and eventually things entangle badly. This is why creating the opening title sequence was no easy task: Fake had to epitomize in the brief introductory moments all the rich life and death symbolism that the movie overlays to its story. The chosen allegory is a Fake-painted tapestry where fresh and natural colors grow like plants, weaving together characters and narrative elements in oracular anticipation of things to come. Profound understanding of macrophotography, fabric composition and color diffusion are the technical highlights of this digital opus.
