Zeeland, photographer Kimmo Virtanen and Fake joined forces to make four images for Finnish Transport Safety Agency Trafi, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Finnish Transport Agency, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Police and Liikenneturva.
The campaign declares “While waiting for this...” and the purpose of the absurd images is to remind that while we are waiting for them to become reality, let’s remember common sense in traffic.
In these saucy pics fake has neatly mixed photos,3D, matte painting and retouch. Careful planning of the layouts was the key to create humorous but photorealistic images, that also work in various croppings.
